VERY GOOD LOCATION FOR EXPLORING...

Very good location for exploring Florence, Pisa and the Chianti region & very helpful staff

We had chosen this camp ground because it is located in between Pisa and Florence and is also close to the FI-PI-LI highway - so you're quickly pretty much everywhere. We went there at the end of September and the place was almost empty, which was nice because it was so quiet. We stayed in one of the mobile homes, which are basic but had everything we needed and as we let them know the BBQ was missing - a brand-new one stood in front of our door the next day. You can hear the highway at night, but it wasn't very loud so it didn't bother us. The staff is extremely helpful. Whenever we had questions about day trips or places to eat they helped us plan things. Montopoli is also a very nice little village. There is a Train Station (San Romano) nearby which helps you to get to Florence without using a car (recommended!)
